MANILA - The camp of Vice President Leni Robredo remains optimistic that the public continues to support the official even while her net satisfaction rating in the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey dropped by 7 points.
Robredo’s spokesperson Barry Gutierrez said in a statement that in the Pulse Asia survey in December last year, Robredo's rating increased by 1 percentage point.
In the latest SWS poll, however, the net satisfaction rating for Robredo dropped 7 points from a +34 to +27 in September last year, with 53 percent satisfied and 26 percent dissatisfied.
"While the SWS and Pulse Asia surveys paint slightly different pictures, one thing is common [in] both: that VP Leni continues to enjoy widespread trust and support from our fellow Filipinos," Gutierrez said.
Gutierrez also assured the public that Robredo's commitment to serving the marginalized will not waver.
"We are grateful for this, and will strive [with] our utmost to continue providing diligent, effective, and conscientious service to them, particularly to the poor and marginalized," Gutierrez said.
