SAN FERNANDO CITY, La Union – A carnapped vehicle in Baguio City turned up in a parking area in San Fernando City, La Union.

The abandoned black vehicle was seen parked along Gomez Street in Barangay 2.

The vehicle was found parked at the place with deflated tires on January 15, 2016. It was registered under the name of Ron Erik Mariano of Taytay, Rizal.

Then later on, parang napasok yung inanuhan niya, nakuha yung susi sa shorts niya, ‘yong susi ng sasakyan,” said Police Senior Inspector Maria Rowena Pacios of San Fernando PNP.

Upon inspection this morning, items of the owner were still there except for the car stereo.

The case was reported to the Baguio City Police Station 2 on January 2.

Coordination has been made by Regional Highway Patrol Unit 1 with Camp Crame for the withdrawal of the car key.

Authorities have requested for viewing the CCTV footage of nearby establishments for clues on the identity of the suspect.
