President Rodrigo Duterte has appointed the founding chairman of Volunteer Against Crime and Corruption (VACC), Dante Jimenez, to lead the Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission.

Duterte signed Jimenez' appointment on January 12.

Aside from Jimenez, Greco Belgica, Gregorio Contacto III and Rickson Chiong were appointed as commissioners.

The President created the Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission in October last year, in a bid to rid government of corrupt public officials.
