MANILA - Model Georgina Wilson has been experiencing the joys of motherhood, and she is urging her celebrity friends have their own babies soon.
"Hurry up and have a baby. It's the most challenging but also the best thing that could happen to you," Wilson said on Thursday when asked about what she usually tells her fellow "It Girls" - Isabelle Daza, Anne Curtis, and Solenn Heussaff - when they chat about her 11-month-old son, Archie.
"I'm really amazed with him. It's so amazing to watch a life grow. Every month, he learns something different. Having a child really teaches you how to appreciate everything about life," she told reporters on the sidelines of an endorsement launch.
Wilson may be cajoling her friends to provide a playmate for Archie, but the celebrity entrepreneur said she is not keen on giving her son a sibling anytime soon.
"Matagal pa 'yan. We travel so much na it's hard to have more than one [kid]," Georgina said.
"We'll have another baby, maybe after 10 years," she said in jest.
Georgina's husband, British businessman Arthur Burnand, is based in Beijing so the mother-and-son tandem often flies out of Manila for the weekend.
"Up to now I don't bring a yaya when I travel because that's my opportunity to get to know him. I'm a working mom so every hour with him is precious," Georgina said.
"Life is so busy that every moment counts, every moment is so precious. I'm just enjoying my time with Arch at the moment," she said.
