Go Hotels Tacloban has reopened. Handout

MANILA – A hotel in Tacloban is offering room packages and other perks as it reopens just in time for the holiday season.

The 98-room Go Hotels Tacloban was temporarily closed after fire struck Robinsons Place Tacloban, which was located next to the property, last October.

In a statement, Go Hotels said it has “taken special care in preserving the spirit of the property” during the brief closure.

“We are delighted to reopen Go Hotels Tacloban and lead it into its next chapter in 2020. We look forward to welcoming guests, old and new, and offering them the opportunity to explore more of Leyte and the rest of Eastern Visayas region,” said Go Hotels VisMin operations manager Hazel De Guzman.

Guests at Go Hotels Tacloban can now avail of room packages aptly named “Back to Tac,” with rates starting at P1,400 nett inclusive of shuttle service.

The promos are valid until the end of the year.
