MANILA – Pia Wurtzbach felt like having “an instant flashback to my pageant days” as she graced this year’s Miss Universe Singapore competition.
The Miss Universe 2015 titleholder was a special guest at the pageant, which was held last October 17 at Zouk Singapore.
“Being here at the Miss Universe Singapore competition has got me feeling all nostalgic,” she said in an Instagram post.
Aside from spending time with the Miss Universe Singapore 2019 candidates, Wurtzbach also had a meet and greet with fans.
During the coronation night, the Filipina beauty queen was spotted handing over the sash and bouquet of flowers to the new Miss Universe Singapore, Mohana Prabha.
Prabha is set to compete against Filipina representative Gazini Ganados and other beauty queens across the globe in Miss Universe 2019, although the date and venue for the pageant has yet to be officially announced.
The winner of Miss Universe 2019 will succeed Catriona Gray, the Philippines’ third titleholder after Wurtzbach (2015), Margie Moran (1973), and Gloria Diaz (1969).
