ORTIGAS ART FESTIVAL
When: February 28 to March 8
Where: G/F East Wing, Estancia at Capitol Commons
The festival showcases the works of artists such as Arnel Agawin, Julio Austria, Jeho Bitancor, Gala Caki, Reynold dela Cruz, Michelle Dawson, Feliciano Gallardo, Processo Gelladuga, Katrinn Hamann, Sahid Kazi, Leonor RS Lim, Alfonso Medillo, Dengcoy Miel, Rey Padernilla, Made Palguna, Joel Soliven, Art Zamora, and Jose Zulueta.
Works from three galleries will be featured – Eskinita Art Gallery, Kaida Contemporary Gallery, and vMeme Contemporary Art Gallery. For those want to appreciate the artists’ creative process, Papelismo Boceto showcases 300 artworks from over 100 artists.
Budding artists can also develop their skills at various workshops to be held during the festival. Admission is free.
RAMPA SA KAWIT! RAMPA NA!
When: February 29
Where: Liwasang Aguinaldo Freedom Park
It is the month of love and Kawit, Cavite expresses support for love with no boundaries with a Pride march in Cavite called “Rampa sa Kawit! Rampa na!”
It will feature two major events – the Rampa sa Kawit Street Dancing Competition and Rampa sa Kawit Amazing Talent Show. Both competitions will be open to members of the LGBTQIA++ communities in Kawit, Rosario, Noveleta, and Cavite City.
Celebrity guests Francine Garcia, JM Canillas, Mark Manicad, and "It's Showtime’s" Miss Q & A Juliana Parizcova Segovia will serve as judges during the competition.
The Rampa Sa Kawit! Event will be hosted by ABS-CBN Star Patroller and Kawit ambassadress Ganiel Krishnan and MOR’s DJ Jai Ho.
