Former environment secretary Gina Lopez will hold a health and wellness seminar focusing on cancer.
“I am inviting 5 to 6 people who have overcome cancer without chemotherapy and radiation, and are alive and doing very well.” Lopez said.
Those who will be part of the seminar are Ching Roxas Camara, Sylvia Ordonez, Meriam Santos and Dr. Albert Jo.
Camara will talk about her experience overcoming cancer through Gerson Therapy, while Ordonez will discuss the Macrobiotic Diet, which she followed to become cancer-free.
Santos will tackle Herbal Healing while Jo, a naturopath who helped Lopez when she was diagnosed with cancer, will explain how food can be used as medicine.
According to Lopez, the seminar aims to "to give (people) health alternatives and take away the fear and stigma that cancer brings. I got happier and healthier . . . so there is absolutely a way through this maze towards health."
The seminar will be held on March 10, 9 a.m. to 12 noon, at 8 Rockwell, Rockwell Center in Makati.
