MANILA – Dani Barretto could not help but clarify a few things about her new home with husband Xavi Panlilio and daughter Millie, after it was described as a “mansion” in some articles.

The assumptions were based on Panlilio’s Instagram post early this week, which showed a photo of a three-level structure under construction.

“Getting there,” he said.

On Thursday, Barretto took to Instagram Stories to make it clear that the photo that her husband posted shows three properties – and they own the one in the middle.

“Guys, let me just clarify something about our recent post about the construction of our home. I saw articles about our house and how it was perceived to people that we’re building a ‘mansion’ [or a] ‘multi-level house’ [and] I felt the need to clarify this. ‘Cause may mga taong may-ari ng unit sa tabi namin. They might come across these articles and think we are claiming their property is ours,” she explained.

The vlogger went on to admit that it was their fault that people were given the wrong impression.

“It’s our fault kasi ngayon lang namin na-clarify ‘to. Since nasa gitna ‘yung bahay namin, mahirap siyang kunan ng photo nang maayos, kaya laging nasasama ‘yung dalawang bahay sa tabi namin,” she said.

“We didn’t think it would be a big deal. I guess we should’ve clarified this from the start para hindi na nagmukhang napakalaki ng bahay na pinapagawa namin.”

Barretto also took the opportunity to thank her in-laws for giving them a new home. According to the vlogger, the property is a wedding gift from Panlilio’s parents.

“I am very grateful to them for the love and support they’ve been showing Xavi and [me] from the start. I don’t want to take credit for something I didn’t buy. I work hard for my money, but this one was a gift from Xavi’s parents,” she ended.
