MANILA – After winning season 2 of “Pilipinas Got Talent,” Marcelito Pomoy is setting his sights on America.
This after the singer announced that he is part of “America’s Got Talent: The Champions,” which will be aired on NBC starting January 6 next year.
“Guys, this is it. Ito na ‘yung pagkakataong hinihintay ko. So please abangan niyo po ako,” he said in an Instagram post on Wednesday.
Pomoy went on to ask for support from his fellow Filipinos as he competes with “Got Talent” champions from around the world.
Please pray for me.”
Pomoy was first recognized abroad for his “golden female voice” when he appeared on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” last year.
Early this year, he was able to meet his idol, Celine Dion, through DeGeneres.
