MANILA — The first trailer of “Silly Red Shoes,” the debut film of rising love team Francine Diaz and Kyle Echarri, has been released.
In “Silly Red Shoes,” a shoemaker (Echarri) asks his neighbor (Diaz), to model his creations for a contest in the hope of keeping his family business afloat.
It also stars Anna Luna, Karen Reyes, and former Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista, who is making his acting comeback.
“Silly Red shoes” is a co-production of Dreamscape Entertainment and Spring Films, and is directed by James Mayo.
The film will be available exclusively on the streaming platform iWant this month, as a back-to-back offering with “Wild Little Love.”
The latter similarly marks the movie debut of the tandem of Andrea Brillantes and Seth Fedelin, Echarri and Diaz’s co-stars in the afternoon drama “Kadenang Ginto.”
