MANILA — Angelica Panganiban on Wednesday shared a heartfelt message for her long-time friend and movie co-star Bea Alonzo, with whom she said she is sharing the same “journey of maturity.”
On Instagram, Panganiban shared photos of her and Alonzo at what appears to be the set of the Star Cinema film “Unbreakable.”
“Dear Mami Mariel,” Panganiban began her message, addressing Alonzo as her character in the movie.
The Mae Cruz-Alviar film, which stars the two as best friends whose relationship is tested when a man (Richard Gutierrez) comes into their lives, is scheduled for a November 27 release.
Nangyayari na,” she said.
Panganiban and Alonzo’s last acting project together was the 2006 teleserye “Maging Sino Ka Man,” which also happened to be directed by Cruz-Alviar.
Kaibigan kita habang buhay. Walang makakasira sa’tin. I love you, Mami Bei. We got this,” she added.
