They say that travel is the best test of true love.
And that theory is essentially what the new movie, "Through Night and Day," starring Paolo Contis and Alessandra de Rossi, is trying to prove, as seen in its first official trailer released this week.
It's about the love story between Ben (Contis) and Jen (De Rossi), a couple who travels to Iceland before getting married.
But instead of it becoming the dream vacation they envisioned, it gradually turns into a bickering-filled nightmare that brings out their worst sides, making them second-guess their relationship.
The romantic drama also stars Joey Marquez and Cheska Iñigo.
The Viva Films flick is directed by Veronica B. Velasco, best known for helming indie movies such as "Inang Yaya" and "Last Supper No. 3," as well as the 2013 dark comedy "Tuhog."
It features "I Will Be Here," a cover of the Steven Curtis Chapman song performed by its lead stars.
It is scheduled to premiere on November 14.
