Investigating conspiracies can be a extremely tiring job.
And apparently, the characters in the Korean series "Vagabond" has a penchant for turning to two things Filipinos are very familiar with as they plod through their probe of a mysterious plane crash.
"We've been searching for six days," says one of them in the 7th episode of the Netflix show, before the camera pans and shows a bottle of local gin and a bag of pandesal atop one of their desks.
It's an unlikely combination, but is an understandable one considering the stress of what appears to be sleepless nights -- a mix of something to wake them up and something to drown out their frustrations.
At this point, the characters, led by Lee Seung-gi's Cha Dal-gun and Bae Suzy's Go Hae Ri, are looking for a reporter who is supposed to be dead and could hold clues to unlock the show's many mysteries.
It stems from its premise: "When his nephew dies in a plane crash, stunt man Cha Dal-geon resolves to find out what happened, with the help of cover operative Go Hae-ri."
