MANILA -- Swedish indie rock band Royal Concept, together with local favorite, Urbandub, are set to perform for Karpos Live Mix 3.1 at the Ayala Vertis North Tent on Sunday.

ABS-CBN News caught up with the Royal Concept a few days before their sophomore show in Manila -- they performed in Wanderland 2014 -- to ask a few questions on their upcoming album, as well as their Asia tour.

Q: What’s inspiring the band these days? Any news songs that you currently love listening to?

A: This Asia tour we’re right now in the middle of is very inspiring. Playing the songs live and meeting all these fantastic people give us inspiration to go home and make some more music. To be playing live is the most passionate thing I know. That leads to new ideas all the time!

Q: Any news on the next album?
A: Yes, it’s finished. We just released 4 of the songs as an EP called “The Wake Up” exclusively for this tour. The full-length album will be released early next year.

Q: How was your experience during the last time you visited in the Philippines?
A: Fantastic! Wanderland is an awesome festival and we had a really good time. Went to a couple of great bars and had some delicious food. It’s a good feeling to be back soon!

Q: Now that you’re co-headlining the show, what can the audience expect from the show?
A: We’ll give them a high energy, passionate, full of love musical experience. We have been longing to go back to Manila ever since 2014! The night will be really special.
