MANILA -- Actress Ivana Alawi has denied working as an escort.
On Monday, Alawi, who recently appeared in the TV drama "Sino Ang May Sala? Mea Culpa," used Facebook to respond to an extraordinary post claiming that she can be booked for two hours for P4.7 million.
Alawi said that she is not offering escort services as stated in the fake photo that had circulated over the weekend, which was taken from a website called "Manila Bookings."
"Ayos yan mga naiisip niyo ipost ah," she wrote, before joking: "May tax pa ba 'yan at bawas sa booking agency or net na? Ang mahal pala. ...Dali lang pala kumita ng 100 million noh?"
"Hubadera ako sa social media yes, but I have my limits. I earn my own money the right way. Byeee," she added.
Alawi also shared a reply from "Manila Bookings" concerning the fake post, and the website claimed that they were "hacked." They also said that they had never heard of Alawi prior to the incident.
Alawi was part of "Sino Ang May Sala? Mea Culpa?" which concluded just last August. She made an appearance on "Tonight with Boy Abunda" prior to its finale.
