Many were moved by her touching letter she posted on Instagram a couple of days ago for her boyfriend, Daniel Padilla, in which she told him: "Your success is mine; my success is yours."
And it appears chief among those people was Padilla himself, who made sure that Kathryn Bernardo felt his enormous gratitude as well by gifting her a bouquet of tulips.
According to Bernardo's mother, Min Bernardo, her daughter woke up to the sweet surprise this Thursday. She also shared that Padilla gave her roses, too.
“Ang aga naman dumating ni Primo, tulips talaga! And sa akin pa red roses. THOU lang talaga ang peg, DJ?” she wrote, referring to Padilla and Bernardo's last movie "The Hows of Us."
She added: "Thank you so much my son. Huwag lang akong si tita Lola ha? Kidding aside, thank you for being thoughtful as always. Huwag ka lang magbabago and we’re here as your second family."
It comes days after Bernardo's emotional message for Padilla, whom she thanked for being her "support system, [her] rock, and [her] strength" despite being hundreds of miles apart.
Bernardo was referring to the period she stayed in Hong Kong to film "Hello, Love, Goodbye," her movie with Alden Richards that is now officially the highest grossing Filipino film of all time.
"I know how hard it was for you to let go of my hand, but despite that you still allowed me to fly. You know how scared I was being away from you, too, but you stayed strong for the both of us."
"You kept reminding me, 'Kaya mo yan, mahal. Konti na lang!' You never gave up, you never gave me a reason to doubt myself or us," she recalled.
