A 12-year-old kid from Lapu-Lapu, Cebu is the newest member of the team of Sarah Geronimo in this year's "The Voice Kids."

This, after Renz Aleguiojo impressed the pop star with his whistle note on Saturday, which he learned just by watching YouTube videos.

Aleguiojo sang "Bukas na Lang Kita Mamahalin" and was able to turn both the chairs of Geronimo and Lea Salonga.

Geronimo praised him for not "forcing" a more mature voice, and that she promised to hone the Aleguiojo's apparent raw talent.

Aleguiojo appeared to have liked what he heard and opted to join Geronimo's team, also because Aleguiojo considers her his idol.
