Here's some great news for fans of Sarah Geronimo and James Reid: "Miss Granny" has earned another P15 million since Tuesday, taking its total to more than P100 million in 10 days.
The figure was announced by Viva Films Friday, showing that the movie is continuing its rather surprising leggy success.
"Miss Granny," an adaptation of a South Korean flick about a grandmother who regains her youth, earned only P7.8 million on its first day — a relatively low number for a big studio release.
But its box-office haul ballooned, thanks to positive reviews from fans and critics, helping it cross the coveted P100-million mark.
"Miss Granny" is the first movie to team up Geronimo with Reid and Xian Lim. It tells the story of a grandmother who regains her youthful appearance after a visit to a mysterious photo studio.
