What started as business deal turned into a possible romance for Khalil Ramos and Gabbi Garcia.
Ramos, who recently focused on honing his directorial skills, joined Garcia in Hong Kong last November to shoot the latter's music video titled "All I Need."
Aside from an aesthetically pleasing music video, the flashy billboards and neon lights built a strong bond between Ramos and Garcia.
The 22-year-old actor-filmmaker admitted on "Tonight With Boy Abunda" on Friday that he's dating the budding actress.
"We're very close, and we go out. She's special to me," he said.
However, when asked if they now label themselves as a couple, Ramos declined to make a statement.
But he surely had a lot to say about filmmaking, his newfound love.
ACTOR TURNED DIRECTOR TURNED BUSINESSMAN
Ramos, who started out playing minor roles on local movies, currently explores life behind the camera.
At first, he was only curious about the set, the lights, the script. Then, eventually, he laid his hands on them.
"Hindi ako 'yong actor na kapag dumating sa set, perform lang and go back to the standby area. I usually meddle with other departments," he said.
In 2015, with help from friends, he put up his own production house called "Limitless," which now handles end to end creative services for different brands.
The past seven years have been life-changing for Ramos, whose showbiz career started when he landed second place on reality talent show "PGT" in 2011.
