MANILA -- "Idol Philippines" is now down to its last 6 contestants after Fatima Louise Lagueras and Sheland Faelnar ended their journey on Sunday.
Lagueras and Faelnar landed in the bottom four, along with Lance Busa and Elle Ocampo.
It was later announced that Busa and Faelnar were safe and can join the rest of the "Idol Philippines" hopefuls.
Both Faelnar and Lagueras performed on the show's Saturday episode.
Faelnar received mixed reactions for her "Hindi Na Nga" cover.
Lagueras, on the other hand, performed "Kathang Isip."
Meanwhile, Ocampo, Miguel Odron, and Lucas Garcia performed their own covers of the country's most streamed hits on Sunday.
Ocampo performed "Story of My Life," while Odron performed "Scars To Your Beautiful."
"You know, Elle, you have such a unique voice. Audition pa lang, talagang tuwang tuwa na ako sa 'yo kasi nga you have a unique voice, parang ikaw pa lang ang naririnig kong ganiyan," Regine Velasquez told Ocampo.
"Alam mo nagtataka ako minsan may nagsabing you're the worst singer here in the competition. I don't think so. Ang ganda-ganda ng boses mo, ang ganda-ganda ng tunog, pang-recording. 'Yung boses mo, puwedeng sumabay sa tunog ng international performers," Vice Ganda told Odron.
Garcia also earned praises for his performance of "Tagpuan."
"Sobrang special sa akin ng kantang 'to... And I just want to say na sana, kung prayer mo man ang manalo and be the first Idol Philippines, sana sagutin ng Panginoon ang panalangin mo," Moira dela Torre told Garcia.
Next week, the remaining contestants will be mentored by Gary Valenciano.
