MANILA — For the first time since Ion Perez referred to him as a “special” person in his life, Vice Ganda shared a photo of them together in an apparent nod to persistent rumors romantically linking the two.
The comedy superstar shared the selfie via Instagram Stories on Saturday, showing Perez apparently in the same dressing room.
Followers of Vice Ganda welcomed the update, as it was the rare instance where the “It’s Showtime” host directly acknowledged Perez on social media.
While speculation surrounding their status has swirled for months, the two have yet to confirm being officially a couple.
They are, however, the constant target of teasing on “It’s Showtime,” where Vice Ganda and Perez’s playful interactions started in September 2018.
The latest hint of their off-screen romance came from co-host Anne Curtis as recently as Saturday, when the actress teased Vice Ganda about being in a “happier place” after a heartbreak, before singing Perez’s signature dance tune “Lintik.”
