A teaser for the third installment of "Ang Babae sa Septic Tank" was unveiled by streaming website iWant this Monday.
"Sequel na, Series pa? Gusto niyo ba 'yon? It's just a suggestion. Pero you've heard it right!" the caption for the first glimpse read, revealing that the latest sequel is a series rather than just a single movie.
"Ang Babae sa Septic Tank" stars actress Eugene Domingo as herself spoofing the way local movies are made.
The original, which targeted the tropes of art house films that aim for international recognition, was released back in 2011, and quickly became a cult favorite. A second one was released five years later, poking fun at the romantic comedy genre.
"Ang Babae sa Septic Tank 3" is titled "The Real Untold Story of Josephine Bracken" and will co-star Tony Labrusca as "hunk Jose Rizal." Domingo will portray Bracken.
It will begin streaming on iWant this July 17.
