MANILA – Julia Montes broke her social media silence to pay tribute to screen veteran Eddie Garcia, who passed away last Thursday.
Posting their photo together on Instagram, Montes, who hasn't posted anything on Instagram since May 25, recalled how shy and nervous she was to have it taken when they both attended an event together.
The actress then shared the things she will never forget about the late actor.
“Looking back sa photo na to daming memories... Mga advice and jokes mo Tito Eddie di ko po makakalimutan... We will miss you,” she wrote.
Montes then thanked Garcia for being an inspiration to all actors.
Garcia, who died at 90 last Thursday, had been in critical condition and comatose state for nearly two weeks after the on-set accident during a taping.
Garcia had been on life support, and on June 14 his family agreed to place him under DNR or "do not resuscitate" status, a week before his death.
