In a stroke of bad luck, Anne Curtis missed her chance to stalk "Goblin" star Gong Yoo in Paris.
On Thursday night (Manila time), photos of the Korean actor attending the Louis Vuitton spring-summer show held in the French capital began to emerge on social media --and Curtis was quick to take notice.
Unfortunately for the "It's Showtime" host, she is scheduled to fly back to the Philippines from France Friday. "Always so near yet so far!" she mused.
Curtis has been vocal about her admiration for Yoo, whom she described to be her "ideal" leading man. There's been talk about her starring in a movie with the "Train to Busan" star, but nothing has been formally announced yet.
Curtis admitted to have fallen in love with K-dramas after watching Yoo's performance as a man cursed to live forever in "Goblin." She told Preview Magazine: "So I said, 'You know what? Why not try?' And it ended up taking over my life. And iyon na nga, kinain na talaga ako ng sistema ng K-drama."
Last month, she booked a trip to Hong Kong for a fan meet with Yoo. She was joined by Kim Atienza, who scored an interview with the K-drama actor for his show "Matanglawin."
Curtis flew to Paris with fiancé Erwan Heussaff to attend a friend's wedding, based on their Instagram posts.
