MANILA - He has never seen his mother before and he hopes to find her now that he's part of "Idol Philippines."
Twenty-seven-year-old Ibrahim Onggo performed "One In a Million You," which he dedicated for his mother.
"Ang ganda nung paos, ang ganda nung hangin. 'Di ko lang masyadong dama," Vice Ganda told Onggo.
"I like it. Sobrang emosyonal 'yung boses mo, para sa akin, but when I watch you, I don't see that same emotion," James Reid added.
Onggo moved on to the next round after receiving three yesses from the judges.
Hosted by Billy Crawford, "Idol Philippines" airs Saturdays after "Home Sweetie Home" and Sundays after "Wansapanataym."
