MANILA — Viewers of “It’s Showtime” guessed right: one of the masked men in the program’s “KapareWho” segment on Tuesday was indeed screen veteran Mon Confiado.
Confiado, who went by the nickname “Bampira Usog,” returned on Wednesday after he was not picked by either of the female contestants in the compatibility game’s previous edition.
This time, he found a match after a series of tasks helped the two seekers determine their preferred date companion.
By some stroke of fate, the contestant who picked Confiado was former actress Pamela Ortiz, his co-star in the 2000 film “Anghel dela Guardia.”
Confiado is the latest celebrity to join “KapareWho” as a potential mystery match, after the likes of Wowie de Guzman, Jeric Raval, and Carlos Agassi.
