MANILA - Three female singers are among the latest batch of contestants to be sent to "Idol City."
On Sunday's episode of "Idol Philippines," Eunice Torion, Geca Morales and Nicoll del Finado auditioned one after the other.
The three, with different singing styles, were all given the coveted "golden ticket."
Watch their performances below.
Torion, 16, performed a cover of hit song "Kahit Ayaw Mo Na."
"Marami ka pang puwedeng i-improve. Gusto ko rin malaman kung kaya mong mag-stand out. I'm going to give you a chance," Regine Velasquez told Torion.
"May nararamdaman akong maganda sa 'yo kaya yes," Vice Ganda added.
Morales, 25, left a strong impression on the judges as soon as she entered wearing knee-high boots.
She performed "Lips Are Movin'" by Meghan Trainor.
"The moment that you started rapping, galing eh," Moira dela Torre told Morales.
"I love your energy, your spunk. You've got attitude which I like, something that I'm looking for, so I'm going to say yes," James Reid added.
NICOLL DEL FINADO
Unlike the two other contestants before her, Del Finado, 21, opted to show off her sweet voice with her performance of "Basta't Maghintay Ka Lamang."
"Crystal clear. I actually liked it," Regine Velasquez told Del Finado.
"You were very expressive. You seem very humble, and you didn't overdo it which I like," James Reid added.
Hosted by Billy Crawford, "Idol Philippines" airs Saturdays after "Home Sweetie Home" and Sundays after "Wansapanataym."
