MANILA -- Veteran actress Sharon Cuneta on Tuesday opened up about her biggest fear.
Appearing on "Tonight With Boy Abunda," Cuneta revealed that she has a fear of rats and that she would run away and cry everytime she sees them.
"Kahit horror pinapanood ko pero kapag may daga na 'ayaw ko na, ayaw ko na.' Kahit commercial lang, kahit billboard lang. They are dirty and they are ugly," Cuneta shared.
But when the show flashed a photo of Cuneta's idol, Korean star Gong Yoo with mouse ears, the actress' reaction was priceless.
"Oh my God! Papakasalan ko. Saka nandiyan naman si doc... ipapagupit ko ang tainga niya, ano ba naman 'yon, 'di ba?," Cuneta said.
Cuneta guested in "Tonight With Boy Abunda to promote her first horror film "Kuwaresma."
"It's scary from beginning to end but it also has a heart, 'yun naman ang kinaiba niya (that's why it's showing) on Mother's Day," said Cuneta who also revealed why she decided to do a horror film at the point in her career.
"Noon kapag may pini-pitch sa akin, laging nakita ko na. Kasi I really search for them, foreign films, Asian and others. 'Ang ending niyan ganito no?' Parang alam ko na, predictable... Mr. Dondon Monteverde ... and direk Erik (Matti) they came to the set of my pictorial and it took them 10-15 minutes, that was it. Inilitag nag-negotiate doon na rin. Tapos na. Less than 2 or 3 weeks, I had my script," Cuneta said.
Cuneta said that aside from the story, she's proud of her co-stars and director.
"I promise it will be worth your time and your money," she said.
"Kuwaresma" will hit cinemas nationwide on May 15.
