MANILA – Green Day has announced new dates for their Asian tour after it postponed its supposed shows this year due to the threat of the novel coronavirus.
In a Twitter post on Thursday, the American rock band said that their shows in Manila, Taipei, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Seoul, Tokyo, Osaka and Singapore have been rescheduled to 2021.
Green Day will now perform in Manila on March 13, 2021.
Here is the new schedule of the rest of their Asian tour:
Green Day’s Manila show was originally scheduled on March 14, 2020 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
This is the first time Green Day will be performing in Manila. It is part of the Hall-of-Fame rock group's world tour promoting their new, upcoming album, "Father of All Mother F------."
The record is a follow-up to 2016's "Revolution Radio."
The band is best known for their albums "Dookie" and "American Idiot.”
