JAKARTA, Indonesia - It was a night to remember for Nadine Lustre and Sam Concepcion who performed on the same stage with Grammy winner Dua Lipa on Tuesday.
All three of them, along with other performers from Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore were part of a concert dubbed “Super Party” in Jakarta, kicking off Lazada’s seventh anniversary.
Lustre and Concepcion did a mash up of “Stay Up” and “No Limitations” to introduce to a different audience their own music.
“We think that it’s better if we sing our own songs kasi at least people here in Indonesia will get to know us and will get to listen to our songs. Para original din,” said Lustre in an interview with reporters here prior to the event.
As for Concepcion, he said: “For us, what we did is we wanted to sing our original stuff... We tried to put our numbers together and introduce what our music sounds like to differentiate us.”
The concert’s highlight, however, was Dua Lipa when she performed her songs including “IDGAF,” “Electricity,” “Scared to be Lonely,” and “One Kiss.”
For the encore, she sang “New Rules” which was a track from her debut studio album released in 2017.
The “Super Party” concert was simultaneously streamed through the Lazada app and on television in Indonesia and Vietnam.
It had roughly around 729,000 views both on the app and on TV, said Lazada.
