MANILA — Cardo (Coco Martin) and Alyana (Yassi Pressman) of "FPJ's Ang Probinsyano" are saying goodbye for now as the primetime stalwart, along with other ABS-CBN programs, halt production amid the spread of the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
On Instagram, Pressman shared a photo of her in an embrace with Martin in a scene from the top-rating action drama, captioned with her sentiments on the break after nearly five years on air.
ABS-CBN, as well as its film arm ABS-CBN Films and streaming platform iWant, announced the suspension of productions and live programs as a safety measure against COVID-19. The move was also in light of the government implementation of a Metro Manila-wide community quarantine.
Replacing "FPJ's Ang Probinsyano" in its time slot, temporarily, is the inspirational series "May Bukas Pa," which originally aired 2009. (View the complete programming changes here.)
God bless," Pressman wrote.
