The Pussycat Dolls, who have recently reunited after nearly a decade since disbandment, are returning to Manila for a concert, local events promoter Wilbros Live announced Monday.
The girl group, who rose to popularity in the first decade of the 2000s through songs such as “Don’t Cha” and “When I Grow Up,” will perform at the Mall of Asia Arena on May 9, according to Wilbros Live.
Tickets will go on sale starting February 29 via SM Tickets.
The group last visited Manila in June 2009 as part of their Doll Domination Tour.
The Pussycat Dolls began as a burlesque troupe before turning into a mainstream pop group in 2003, comprised of Nicole Scherzinger, Carmit Bachar, Ashley Roberts, Jessica Sutta, Melody Thornton, and Kimberly Wyatt.
The band disbanded in 2010 and reunited in late 2019, minus Thornton.
The group released the music video for their new song, “React,” last February 7.
