MANILA—A 17-year-old charmed "The Voice Teens 2" coaches Apl.de.ap and Bamboo with a smooth cover of a Shanti Dope hit.
Quezon City's Jelo Acosta performed "Nadarang," making the two coaches turn for him.
A self-confessed fan of the two coach-artists, Acosta thanked them for turning for him and giving him a chance in the competition.
Sabi ko sa sarili ko, 'Wow, I've never heard anything like this on the show,' "
Acosta eventually chose to be part of Apl's team, making him its fourth member.
