MANILA — For the first time, actress Loisa Andalio spoke in detail about a controversy in 2019 that admittedly marked a dark phase in her life, and nearly made her “give up.”

The “James & Pat & Dave” star was asked about the incident in her interview on “Tonight with Boy Abunda” that aired on Tuesday.

Tuloy ang buhay,” she said.

Andalio, 20, turned emotional when prompted to give a message to herself during the height of the controversy.

Andalio credited Ronnie Alonte, her onscreen partner and real-life boyfriend, as one of the sources of her strength to grapple with the situation at the time.

Andalio said she hopes her experience, and how she has managed to overcome it, will help inspire others who may be similarly going through a dark episode to keep counting on better days.
