MANILA – Just like her late father, Fernando Poe Jr., Lovi Poe is also keen on making action projects in the future.
Poe made the announcement during an interview with reporters at the sidelines of the press conference last Sunday for her upcoming movie “The Significant Other.”
“I wish! Sana bigyan talaga ako ng proyekto na action,” she said.
Lovi said she is also grateful to Coco Martin for giving life to characters previously portrayed by her father. Martin is the lead star of "FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.” He also produced, directed and headlined the 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival entry “Ang Panday.”
“Coco is very nice. Malapit nga siya sa ate ko (Senator Grace Poe Llamanzares). Sobrang gentleman niyang tao. The fact na binubuhay pa rin niya 'yung mga pelikula ng papa ko, talagang thankful ako kasi that’s when you know that my father’s legacy lives on.”
When asked if she also likes to work with Martin in a project in the future, Lovi said: “Of course!”
Lovi, whose real name is Lourdes Virginia, is the daughter of Poe with former actress Rowena Moran. Llamanzares, on the other hand, is the adopted daughter of the late film icon with veteran actress Susan Roces.
