MANILA — An “It’s Showtime” audience member who could not be stopped from dancing had the studio erupting in cheers Thursday, marking another memorable moment on the noontime program.
The fan, Sarah, was initially chosen to give her comment on the introductions of the Miss Q&A contestants. Her enthusiasm, however, landed her on stage where she was asked to do her version of the viral “Switch It Up” challenge.
Sarah, who was celebrating her birthday, had an eagerness that prompted Vice Ganda, in jest, to restrain her.
Impressing the hosts and the audience with her dance moves, Sarah at one point jokingly refused to stop. Vice Ganda took his effort up a notch, wrestling then pinning Sarah on the side of the stage in a hilarious moment.
The interaction also saw Vice Ganda getting “apir-zoned,” in his words, after Sarah ran past him and to Jhong Hilario instead, leaving the comedian’s gesture for a high five hanging.
By the end of her time under the spot light, Sarah had the commitment of Vice Ganda and Hilario to help her celebrate her birthday in style.
