MANILA—She said that she's looking to take a break from doing teleseryes, following the conclusion of "Starla," at least for the first few months of the new year to spend more time with her family.
And it looks like Judy Ann Santos has been putting her free time to good use, cooking and packing hot meals for the many who were displaced to evacuation centers due to the Taal eruption.
On her Instagram Stories, Santos could be seen busy preparing the packed meals with her family and friends, with husband Ryan Agoncillo leading the distribution side.
She shared that they managed to make a thousand packed meals, in addition to the 35 relief packages they stored in reusable boxes.
She wrote: "Sama sama tayong babangon para sa mga kababayan nating nangangailangan ng tulong."
It was last Sunday when Taal Volcano spewed a giant ash column, forcing the evacuation of some 39,000 residents from its expanded danger zone. It continues to be under Alert Level 4, which warns of a "hazardous" eruption in the next "hours or days."
