A Filipino-speaking Israeli dancer charmed the judges of "World of Dance" with his breakdancing skills.
Asaf Goren, a breakdancer, wowed the judges with his performance.
"Coming here on stage, alone, but with your skills as a breakdancer, you've got skills, bro. Sobra, ang galing mo," Billy Crawford told Goren.
Goren later revealed that he danced to his original music.
Maja Salvador, for her part, said: "Maganda ang performance mo. Maganda 'yung technique mo."
"I think naniniwala ako, Asaf, na bago ka pa sumayaw, before you started dancing, people could sense that there is something about this man," Gary Valenciano added.
He received an average score of 89 points.
Contestants will only need at least a score of 80 to move to the second round. They will be judged based on performance, technique, choreography, creativity, and presentation. The maximum score is 100.
"World of Dance Philippines" airs Saturdays after "Home Sweetie Home" and Sundays after "Wansapanataym."
