After a night of celebrations, Darren Criss, the first actor with Pinoy roots to win an acting award at the Golden Globes, treated himself to a little bit of breakfast with his mother.

Criss posted a photo of himself with his mom, saying that the morning after the awards show was "full of Filipino treats."

He did not mention what they ate exactly, but what's clear is that he enjoyed the relaxed meal very much.

He described his mom as a "fun spritely lady" in their smiling photo, and repeated his acceptance speech wherein he revealed his mother's dreams of getting invited to glamorous parties.

"Well Mom, I’m glad you made it," said Criss, who won for his role in "The Assassination of Gianni Versace."

He played Andrew Cunanan, the serial killer with Filipino roots notorious for murdering five men, including fashion designer Gianni Versace, in 1997.
