MANILA -- Phoenix Petroleum said it secured the right to supply jet fuel to Philippine Airlines at Francisco Bangoy International Airport in Davao City.

The oil retailer led by Davao City-based businessman Dennis Uy said PAL would benefit from Phoenix Petroleum's new storage facility in the air terminal, which has a storage capacity of 160,000 liters of Jet A-1 fuel.

"We are glad to be fueling the flights of one of Asia’s premier airlines, starting with its operations in Davao, which is where Phoenix Petroleum originated," said COO Henry Albert F. Fadullon.

Shares of Phoenix were unchanged in early trading Thursday at P11.
