MANILA—Several flights bound for Manila were diverted Saturday due to bad weather, the Manila International Airport Authority said.

China Airlines flight CI703 from Taipei, Taiwan was diverted to Cebu International Airport.

Cathay Pacific Airways flight CX919 from Hongkong and Cebu Pacific flight 5J644 from Puerto Princesa were diverted to Clark International Airport.

State weather bureau PAGASA said the southwest monsoon, enhanced by a low-pressure area east of Cagayan, continues to dump rains over Metro Manila.
