MANILA - Cebu Pacific is temporarily suspending flights to and from Caticlan, Aklan effective May 17 due to the 6-month closure of Boracay, the airline said Thursday.
It said it will resume full commercial service in Caticlan once Boracay is opened in late October.
The airline earlier scaled down its services to Aklan but maintained 4 Caticlan flights amid the tourist island shutdown.
It said those who booked Caticlan flights have the following options:
• Get a full refund;
• Place the full value of the ticket in a travel fund for future use;
• Rebook the flight, subject to seat availability;
• Reroute to any domestic destination, subject to seat availability.
Affected passengers are advised to contact the airline's hotline at +632 7020-888, or visit the official Cebu Pacific Facebook (facebook.com/cebupacificair) or Twitter (@CebuPacificAir) accounts. --With reports from Jacque Manabat, ABS-CBN News
