Cebu Pacific issues advisory for peak travel season

MANILA - Cebu Pacific on Thursday advised passengers to arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before their departure time for domestic flights and 3 hours for international flights as authorities braced for the Holy Week travel rush.

The Philippines' largest airline also urged passengers to use the online and mobile check-in systems to save time as the company expects an influx of travelers in the coming weeks. 

For online check-in, passengers can visit Passengers can also download the official Cebu Pacific Mobile App on the App Store or Google Play to use mobile check-in. 

For international flights, web and mobile check-in are available from 7 days up to 4 hours before departure, the airline said. 

Those taking domestic flights can do web and mobile check-in up to 1 hour before departure, the airline said.

Passengers on international flights need to show up at check-in counters to present valid travel documents and drop their baggage at least 1 hour before their flight, it said.

Those with no check-in baggage can go straight to their boarding gates, while passengers with check-in baggage can drop these off at the bag drop counter at least 45 minutes before the flight, the airline said. 

Cebu Pacific also "strongly advises" passengers on international flights to immediately proceed to the immigration counters after completing check-in requirements.
