MANILA -- Megaworld said Wednesday US co-working space provider WeWork opened a 4,000 square meter facility at its Taguig City development.
WeWork Uptown Bonifacio is the company's first in the Philippines after setting up shop in Vietnam and Malaysia, Megaworld said in a statement.
"We are now able to collaborate with a multinational operator of flexible spaces, and this allows both Megaworld and WeWork to engage in cross referrals," said Megaworld vice president Jericho Go.
With the Philippines growing economy, "there is no better time to be here than now," said Turochas Fuad, managing director, WeWork Southeast Asia.
WeWork's international clients include Dell, KPMG, GE, Microsoft, Samsung. Locally, it said it would welcome Edukasyon.ph, Klook, and Shopback.
