Here's why you wouldn't want to miss PruRide PH 2018
PruRide PH 2018, the cycling event brought by Pru Life UK, is coming back and is poised to be the biggest and one of the most interesting cycling events of the coming year.
Banking on the successful PruRide to London 2016, PruRide PH 2018 expects 5,000 cyclists to participate in a line-up of 36 racing activities. These will be held on January 11 to 14, 2018 at the Subic Bay Freeport, and then on January 21 at McKinley West, Taguig.
PruRide PH 2018 will feature the Philippine Road Bike Championships, where athletes aspiring to be in the national cycling team may show off their competence.
Amateur and age-group cyclists may join the Individual Time Trial, Amateur Time Trial, and the 100-kilometer Gran Fondo in Subic.
Families and kids of all ages will also enjoy the bike community days in both locations.
Like the Prudential Ride-London, PruRide PH 2018 will bring in three delightful events of the Brompton Challenge: the Beer Lap Challenge, the Slowest Lap Challenge, and the Brompton Criterium, where participants will be wearing a formal top – barong tagalog, Filipiniana, or suit with bow tie.
PruRide PH has partnered with PhilCycling to bring in top cycling teams from Australia, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, and Indonesia to be part of the event.
Pru Life UK will be giving away more than a million worth of prizes. On top of the cash prizes for the winners, six participants will be awarded with an all-expense-paid trip to London.
