During this challenging juncture, there are a lot of individuals and organizations that have already stepped up to help boost the morale and to further ensure the health and safety of the frontliners working from different fields.

vivo, one of the leading technology companies in the world, attended to this call by giving out thousands of surgical masks and appreciation letters to select hospitals in the metro with the help of the Office of the Vice President (OVP) and other local government offices.

The handwritten letters of gratitude and encouragement addressed to the medical frontliners and some patients were specially made to give them hope for a brighter tomorrow.

These, along with the face masks, were turned over by vivo Philippines to the OVP for distribution to the Philippine General Hospital, and to the Bonifacio Global City administration office for the beneficiaries of the St. Luke's Medical Center - Global City. Similar donations were also directly given to The Medical City - Ortigas.

"With their valiant efforts, our medical frontliners are truly the heroes in this battle we are waging, but we also understand that they are also humans and can be physically and emotionally exhausted," said vivo Philippines PR Lead Charisma Buan.

"With our modest contribution, we hope to help our medical frontliners in flattening the curve soon."
